From the swirling smog of Teesside industry emerges a ray of musical sunshine – Smoggy Riddim!  The Boro-born band of brothers play some songs you know, but not how you know them.  Their unique blend of ‘drum and brass’ brings together an eclectic mix of samba, funk and downright dirty grooves, creating a colour that repaints the image of the grey clouds of their hometown.  The Boro-boys are bringing their latinista rythms and world music vibe to Kendal Calling in what is sure to be an enjoyable collaboration with some of the members of Riot Jazz stage’s favourites The Thingumajigs.  This promises to be a gig to remember…  ‘No two gigs the same’ is the motto – watch this space!
