The Northern Threads are a young 4 piece Indie Rock ‘n’ Roll band formed in the slightly grim yet beautiful fells of West Cumbria back in 2016. Racking up plays on Huw Stephens BBC RADIO 1 show this year was nicely followed by securing a place on ‘Best of BBC Introducing Cumbria 2018’.

Selling out venues in their local area they’re starting to take their blistering choruses, passionate hooks and articulate one-liners out of the fells and into the cities penning gigs in Edinburgh and Manchester with up-coming stars The Snuts and Saytr Play and more locally gigs with the likes of Detroit Social Club and Twisted Wheel just to name a few. Oh and let’s not forget about their abundance of sold-out hometown gigs featuring their up-for-it and roaring crowd who follow their every move.
