Stevie Thompson is a light installation artist specialising in fibre optic lighting. 

The Mycelium Network has been created by Stevie to show the hidden underground connections between mushrooms, plants and trees that exist beneath all of our feet.

Fibrous networks ‘mycelium’ play a vital role in protecting the environment and providing for humanity; from providing us with food and medicine, to regenerating trees and plants after forest fires, mycelium can even break down toxins in polluted soils.
