Weekend ticket FAQ’s

Adult weekend tickets are for anyone aged 16 and older.

All weekend tickets includes access to our standard camping; Wolf Woods, Great Holme, The Shire, Haye Parks, Saddleback View / Family Campsite.

Children should be within the age category at the time of the festival not at the time of purchase.

Age 11 to 15 weekend tickets must be accompanied by a ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 30 and MUST camp in the same area as their families or guardians. ID will be checked at the gate and entry will be refused to those not accompanied by an adult.

Teen ticket holders (Age 11-15) are not allowed in the arena field unaccompanied after 10pm.

Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent of guardian at ALL times.

There are a limited amount of tickets for children up to and including the age of 5 to attend free of charge but their parent or guardian must obtain a ticket for them and accompany them at ALL times.

NOTE: By purchasing an infant ticket you are confirming that you are either the parent or legal guardian.

The campsite is open a day early for all you keen festival goers.

Emperor’s Fields tickets FAQ’s

What’s included: Parking field adjacent to camping, separate arena entrance, free hot showers, compost toilets, extra camping space.

Few minutes walk to the arena.

No access to non-Emperor’s Fields customers.

There are no live-in vehicles allowed in Emperor’s Fields.

Emperor’s Fields is split into three sections which can be chosen on arrival; Late Night Owls, Early Risers and Family Fun.

*NOTE: By purchasing an Infant Ticket you are confirming that you are either the parent or legal guardian of the child for whom you are purchasing.

Free parking passes are added to your basket automatically when purchasing Emperor’s Field tickets, 1 car park per 4 adult tickets.

Additional Emperor’s Field Car Parking tickets can only be purchased at the same time as your Emperors Field Adult tickets.

Please note that you will only be able to park in the Emperor’s Field Car Park if in possession of an Adult Emperor’s Field ticket – no exceptions!

If you have a Thursday entry ticket in conjunction with your full weekend ticket, this allows you to arrive from Thursday.

Free parking passes are added to your basket automatically when purchasing Great Plains tickets, 1 car park per order.

Additional Great Plains Car Parking tickets can only be purchased at the same time as your Great Plains Adult tickets.

Car parking FAQ’s

One pass required per vehicle.

This is valid for parking over the weekend, if you have a Thursday ticket this will also be available from the Thursday.

Cheaper if purchased in advance.

If bought in advance you will be sent a car park hanger which acts as your ticket and will allow you to be processed faster onsite. This must be displayed.


LIVE-IN VEHICLE

  • Live-in Vehicle

Live-in vehicle FAQ’s

These are 1 per vehicle not 1 per person.

All campervans, caravans, vans and trailer tents require a live-in vehicle pass.

Unsuitable vehicles, such as unconverted vans & cars will not be allowed entry to the live-in vehicle site. Only cars towing caravans will be permitted entry. These vehicles will be redirected to the festival carpark where sleeping in vehicles is prohibited as it is contrary to our license. Suitable vehicles are those that have living accommodation with fitted sleeping facilities and either fitted cooking or washing facilities.

Trailer tents are allowed.

Live-in vehicle tickets are only valid in conjunction with a weekend ticket.

The live-in vehicle field is located separately from the general campsites, Deer Lodge, Emperor’s Fields, Great Plains, The Frontier and Tangerine Fields pre-pitched tents campsites.

Each pitch is 7m x 7m maximum. All vehicles and cars with each ticket must fit within that area. If you’re live-in vehicle is larger than this pitch space, you would need 2 x live-in vehicle tickets.

Live-in vehicle field is located adjacent to the main campsite and approx. 10-15 min walk from the arena.

What’s included: pitch, compost toilets, water point and chemical disposal point.

 

 


The Frontier

  • Live-in Vehicle

Our quieter home for live-in vehicles, located in front of the stunning Lowther Castle. The Frontier is located further away from the arena than all other campsites, approx. 10 min walk from our original live-in vehicle field, which in itself is  10-15 min walk to the arena, ground conditions dependent. You would need to re-enter the festival each day. We have a land train which can transport you from The Frontier to the entrance of the festival.

The Frontier FAQ’s

Tickets for The Frontier are 1 per vehicle not 1 per person.

All campervans, caravans, vans and trailer tents in The Frontier require a Frontier pass.

DEER LODGE BOUTIQUE CAMPING

Indulge yourself at Kendal Calling this year with a luxury stay in The Deer Lodge. We will have a range of accommodation structures available to book very soon!

You will have access to the following, included with your boutique camping:

Free car parking in the main general car park, clean enviro loos, free hot showers, access to a dedicated food and drink stall and a dedicated concierge to look after you during your stay.

*Those with a Thursday ticket can stay for in their accommodation from 9AM Thursday*

SOAP OPERA + POSH PRIVY

Soap Opera is our posh showers, real toilets and pamper station located in the standard campsites Village Green. This is open from 9AM Thursday and 7AM Friday, Saturday & Sunday. The showers are open until 9PM with toilets open until 11PM daily.

Posh Privy is located in the arena and is our flushing toilets and pamper station open during arena opening times.

MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN:

  • This spreads the cost of your tickets over a number of months, dependant on when you purchase them.
  • Once you’ve signed up to this an automatic payment is taken by Ticketline each month.
  • Booking fees are charged with the first payment.
  • Please note that the Face Value price of the tickets listed is only the initial payment and not the total amount you will be paying.
  • We are only able to accept Mastercard or Visa for the payment plan and NOT Maestro, AMEX or Solo cards due to current regulations in force. This we believe is the way forward in the current economic climate and ensures a safe and secure way of booking your ticket online via the exclusive reservation system that has been developed by Ticketline.
  • After you have selected your tickets you will have to agree to certain terms relating to Kendal Calling.

TICKETS HAVE NOT ARRIVED YET, WHAT DO I DO?

With queries relating to your tickets please contact the ticket agency you purchased them from. If this is from our website this will be Ticketline: 0844 888 9991. Tickets are usually sent out late June / early July.

DOES THE WEEKEND PASS INCLUDE THURSDAY NIGHT?

Unfortunately not. You need to purchase a separate ticket for the Thursday night. Weekend tickets include Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.

HOW MANY LIVE-IN TICKETS DO I NEED?

One ticket is required per vehicle and it’s up to you how many people you fit into your abode. A full weekend camping ticket is also required for each person coming to the event. Each live-in vehicle pitch must have 1 x live-in vehicle within it.

MY CHILD IS 10 AT TIME OF TICKET PURCHASE BUT 11 AT THE TIME OF THE FESTIVAL, WHICH TICKET DOES HE/SHE NEED?

The child will need an 11-15 ticket. The ticket age bracket is based on the age of child at the time of the festival, NOT when purchasing tickets.
