Tim Burgess’ brainchild has become a cornerstone of Kendal Calling, serving up delicious coffee, tea and of course an eclectic mix of culture, music and party vibes. Tim Peaks is the diner of dreams and as such attracts some of the biggest acts in the musical world to play but you’ll have to be eagled-eyed to catch them! The Libertines, Blossoms, The Coral and the legendary Edwyn Collins have all rocked up to play a secret show in recent years, keep your ears to the ground for these ‘I was there’ moments.

Seasoned Kendal Callers will know about our Saturday parade, a cascade of performers roaming across the festival site, bringing musical delights and a feast for the eyes! The perfect way to kickstart the day (alongside a cuppa, of course) the Parade has become a true festival highlight in recent years and is not one to miss!

Fancy shredding out a righteous guitar solo or perhaps your more suited to a tambourine? Well, with experience of any level, you can jump in for a performance in the Jam Tent! We’ve even had the odd famous face stop by in the past to lend a helping hand…

With over 15 different ales across the festival, we like to think we have something for everyone! This is also your one chance in the year to get yourself a pint of delicious Kend’ale – Lancaster Breweries special festival ale – an opportunity we wouldn’t miss for the world!

The party doesn’t finish with the headliners! There is plenty to do after dark at Kendal Calling, whether you want to belt out the indie bangers in Calling Out, experience a silent disco surrounded by Woodlands or rave the night away with legendary dance acts like Andy C – there is plenty left to experience after the sun goes down.

Chai’s unique touring tent has played host to some of the greatest afrobeat, funk, reggae and hip hop on the planet over the last 16 years. Expect amazing sounds from all corners of the planet, plus with the real ale tent right next door, you’re in pole position for a party!

From craft workshops to circus skills, story telling to face painting and everything in between! There is always something going on to keep the next generation of Kendal Callers entertained while you take a minute to relax from the hustle and bustle of festival life.

Speaking of relaxation, The Garden of Eden returns to Kendal this year! Away from the electric atmosphere and the beat of the music, you’ll find an area of serenity and healing. Feeling a bit sore from a hard night of partying? From yoga to massages, we’ll melt those worries away… before you get back out there and do it all over again!
